Super stylish people wanted!

Are you what could be descibed as an independent fashion icon? Are you a vintage freak? Super geek? rocking a look that no one else would dream of? A customisation queen? tattooed from head to toe? A victorian dandy? Yes? Then we want to see it!

We've been talking to our friends as 247 magazine and each month we're going to be featuring 12 of the most stylish people in Plymouth and the South West in the magazine for all the world (or at least those in the South West) to gawp at in fear and awe.

Want to be involved? Then all you need to do is send us a pic of you working your best look to info@fortyfiveclothing.com with your name, age and where you live. If we feature your picture then we'll ask you a few more questions about your outfit.

The best look of the month, as chosen by us, will win prizes from our store....

Design a t-shirt competition

We've teamed up with the Plymouth University based Designers Society to run a t-shirt design competition.

After the success of their poster competion back in January, the t-shirt competition will give you the opportunity to see your t-shirt on sale in Forty Five! [with you getting a percentage of the profits too]

The theme of the competition is 'Open', so interpret this how you will, and we will look forward to seeing what you come up with.

To enter, you need to submit a t-shirt printed with your design to the Designers Society or into Forty Five on or before 14th May - please note this deadline has been extended from the previous deadlin of 7th May.

You can print your own t-shirt, or pop in to Forty Five to get it printed by us ~ we're offering a special deal of £9.99 per t-shirt, including the t-shirt.

Plymouth Student Model Search

We're very excited to be joining 247 magazine, and our fellow Ebrington street independents Arena (fab hairdressers), Prime (skaters heaven) and Home (gorgeous things) in searching for the hottest new talent Plymouth uni has to offer!

After last years hugely Student Model Search, we're looking for model students who have the looks and the attitude to take part in this year's exciting competition.

So, for your chance to win clothes, haircuts, the opportunity to take part in fashion shoots and see your face in 247 magazine and lots more, make sure you're part of this year's Student Model Search.
