We have recently welcomed the first drop of lovely dresses, t-shirts and bags from Kate Garey. The designs began to sell out fast and we have just put in a second order which is due to arrive this week. Bette Noir's Vintage Fair, Plymouth 2nd October

 

We are very excited to be co-organising Plymouth's first ever vintage and handmade fair along with our friends at online vintage store - The Little Deer.  Join us at Bette Noir's at St Matthias church hall (just off North Hill, Plymouth) from 11.30am til 4.30pm on Saturday 2nd October.

With over 25 stands from Devon and Cornwall's finest vintage stores and creative craftspeople, this fair really is going to go off with a bang!  With everything from cupcakes to clothing, to corsages to cards the fair is a gold mine of unique and one-off items, you're going to find so much to love....

New brand in: Emily the Pemily

We spotted Emily the Pemily at a London streetwear show in summer 2010 and we were immediately drawn to the simplistic but stylish black and white t-shirts, with their unique, quirky illustrative style prints.

Emily the Pemily's designs are a celebration of all things British, including cosy cups of tea, dodgy weather and of course royalty.

First autumn 2010 drop of Emily and Fin

Yesterday at Forty Five we were very excited to receive our first drop of autumn 2010 stock from Emily and Fin. 

The first of many new deliveries, this one has a definate autumnal feel. The dresses are equally as beautiful as ever but rather than creating a feel of long summer days and picnics in the park, these dresses have us feeling all warm and cosy inside. They make us want to wrap up in a chunky knitted cardi and sheep skin lined boots sitting in a warm coffee shop sipping good coffee!
