Bette Noir's Vintage Fair, Plymouth 2nd October

 

We are very excited to be co-organising Plymouth's first ever vintage and handmade fair along with our friends at online vintage store - The Little Deer.  Join us at Bette Noir's at St Matthias church hall (just off North Hill, Plymouth) from 11.30am til 4.30pm on Saturday 2nd October.

With over 25 stands from Devon and Cornwall's finest vintage stores and creative craftspeople, this fair really is going to go off with a bang!  With everything from cupcakes to clothing, to corsages to cards the fair is a gold mine of unique and one-off items, you're going to find so much to love....

Two Little Birss Boutique - Based in Falmouth and coming down to Plymouth for Bette Noir - Two Little Birds is the perfect vintage store.

St Lukes Vintage and Retro Charity Shop - Based in Plymouth Ebrington Street, St Lukes vintage store is sure to bring some unusual and beautiful additions to the fair!

 

Kinky and Quirky - Like vintage pin-ups? burlesque? Then you'll love Kinky and Quirky's fun, vintage and just a little bit naughtly vibe!

In addition to the above there is many other vintage and handmade stalls selling clothing, accessories, food, homewares, so be sure to pop along on Saturday 2nd October in St Matthias Church hall just off of North Hill open from 11.30am till 4.30pm.

We couldn't resist this latest collection from Emily and Fin ~ what with all the summery weather we've been having, it seems that you can't either! So we've got a few more gorgeous pieces in to tempt you....The vintage style Amy dress is a flattering empire line knee length dress, with concealed pockets, cross back detailing and piping in a suitably summary print.

Lucky Star ~ new vintage fripperies now in.

Our in house jewellery brand Lucky Star has just released it's latest collection of jewellery, made using gorgeous vintage charms, re worked with modern fittings for today's gal about town!

We are especially loving these vintage East German floral cabochons from the 1970s ~ mounted in silver plated mounts, and hung on silver plated curb chains.

The Ethical Threads Fashion Show, 7pm 11 March @Plymouth Univesity Students Union

We're very excited to be taking part in Plymouth Univesity Student Union's Ethical Threads Fashion Show! We'll be showing off a selection of our tasty vintage clothing on the catwalk alongside other local ethical brands like Surfers Against Sewage Pants to Poverty and Faux Couture. We'll be giving away our Forty Five vintage totes with every vintage purchase made on the evening, with a special discount off our normal prices.

All welcome - tickets are just £3 or £2 for concessions, order in advance by emailing volunteers@su.plymouth.ac.uk or heading to the students union ticket office. See you there!
